How to Claim

There are a few different ways you can claim on services covered by your policy. You can submit claims online via our app, by email, or by post.

Please note: Only the main policy member can make online claims and can do so for all members and dependants on the policy.

Before you claim, please remember:

  • Invoices for Extras claims under $500 need to be paid in full prior to claiming benefits from see-u. For unpaid invoices over $500, the benefit can be paid directly to the provider, with their approval
  • Relevant waiting periods will need to be served
  • Premium payments must be up to date
  • The service must have already been provided and paid for (you can’t claim for a service before it’s been  provided)
  • Claims need to be lodged within two years from the date the service was provided
  • The healthcare provider must be recognised by us
  • You should retain receipts for auditing purposes

Extras Claims

Most Extras providers offer electronic claiming using your see-u (and CUA Health) member card. Simply swipe your card, and you’ll only need to pay the remaining balance to your provider. If electronic claiming isn’t available, you can submit your claim through:

1. Online via the see-u app

Take a photo of your invoice and submit it with just the click of a button. Our app is free to download and works on iPhone, Android, and most tablets. Head to the App Store or Google Play and search for ‘see-u health’ to get started.

2. Claiming by email

Complete a claim form and email your completed form and invoice to info@seeuhealthinsurance.com.au.

3. Claiming by post

Fill out your claim form, attach your invoice and receipt and post to:

see-u
Locked bag 2234
Brisbane QLD 4001

Benefits will be credited to your nominated bank account.

Hospital Claims

If you need surgery or are admitted to hospital, simply provide them with your see-u policy details, and we’ll work directly with the hospital.

All you’ll need to do is sign your claim form and pay the hospital your share of the co-payment or excess. If there are out-of-pocket expenses, the hospital will invoice you after your procedure.

Medical Claims

If your doctor participates in the Access Gap Cover Scheme, your account will be automatically forwarded to us for processing. Any medical account you receive should be submitted to Medicare on a Two-Way Form.
